Boots & Bling 2021
We have so much to be grateful for! Join Love for Lily to celebrate serving 2020, thriving in 2021 and continuing the support of families in the neonatal ICU.
Boots and Bling is Love for Lily’s premier fundraising event of the year. This year’s event will feature an evening hosted by Love for Lily’s resident funny man, Dusty Smith and an appearance by Sahra Cahoon, the founder of Love for Lily and Lily’s mama. We will feature musical musings from local CO artists, testimonials from nurses and families directly touched by Love for Lily, a live cocktail class, a silent auction and a paddle raise to close the evening. This event is not to be missed!
We have made the decision to hold Boots and Bling virtually. Virtual, we know this is not what any of us were hoping for. The Love for Lily Team, and our advisors, have been struggling with the right direction to move forward following the recent information from the Colorado Dept. of Health and Environment and the decrease in mask mandates in Boulder County. As a committee, and a team, we have come to the conclusion that there is no right answer. We cannot win and we have a duty to the families that we serve. A responsibility to those families with babies in the Neonatal ICU and to the families who have gone home, to limit exposure. We miss you, we miss hugging you and toasting to the successes.
A lot of care and thought has gone into making Boots & Bling a true celebration and a party that can be had anywhere! In your backyard, at your campsite with WiFi, in your local park or in the comfort of your own home. We hope that you will gather your friends together and put on your boots and bling for a beautiful night of celebrating the many successes and unprecedented growth Love for Lily has experienced in the last year. This decision has been so difficult, and we truly feel that we want to be out and to put this whole pandemic behind us. We hope that you will see the care and heart that we put into this decision and help us to build a successful event filled with parties across the nation.
