This holiday season, Love for Lily delivered hand-made bags filled with goodies for NICU families. Our theme was “Get Cozy and Thrive” and we hoped to deliver gifts for moms that would keep them warm and supported during an often cold and isolated time.
We started by collecting newly bought items from our community: fuzzy socks, throw blankets, scarves, baby books, puzzle books, for the adults, chapstick and of course chocolate and hand sanitizer (the NICU musts!) Ampersand Coffee and WellSpine Family Chiropractic were kind enough to let us keep donation collection bins in their businesses!
And the donations came flooding in!
Meanwhile, the incredible David MacDonald, volunteer and sewing extraordinaire, and the sewing crew, sewed over 200 bags, with gorgeous and fun patterns and lining to boot!
“I can’t thank you enough for the wonderful xmas gift! I appreciate the support”

We received a lovely card from the PSL nurses and numerous messages from families! What a wonderful day we had!
