Hello!
Happy March, it seems like yesterday I was writing to you with a Happy New Year message. Love for Lily has been busy these last 2 months! In 2 months time we have already hosted 63 support groups, 6 volunteer events and 1 nurse process group this year. Our team has finally found an office home and moved in (pictures coming soon!) creating a space for families, partners and local groups to come together in community which is another dream realized for us.
Over the next month we will be sharing some of the work that we are doing through partnerships with other organizations and companies and the impact it makes. Here at Love for Lily we believe that we are better together and we are so grateful that you are along for this journey.
Today we want to feature a program that you might not know about, Ryder’s Love. Ryder’s Love is a grant that provides support for families served in the NICU outside of Colorado and in the last 2 years has provided nearly $10,000 in grants to qualified families. Our partnership with Ryder’s Fund is made possible by Rick Johnson, Ryder’s dad, and the YMCA of Northern Colorado. The impact of this support has made its way to 6 different states and provided a hand up when families need it most.
Here’s what Ryder’s Love Grant Recipients have to say about the impact this made on their lives:

We are forever grateful for the opportunity to serve in this way. Ryder’s Love grants make a huge impact for families navigating what can be some of the darkest most challenging days of their lives. Thank you to Rick & Cindy Johnson and the YMCA of Northern Colorado for making this possible. We are stronger together.
To learn more about Ryder’s Fund visit their website here or check out the latest addition of their newsletter here.
Love for Lily only exists because of you, this community that chooses to support and believe in the work that we do. We believe that no one should have to walk through the NICU alone and together we are making that a reality.
With Love & Gratitude,
Sahra
